Established in 1987
NTX Advisory Group was originally founded by Steve Ramsey in 1987 in Denison, Texas. Steve built the practice on a simple promise: treat every client like a neighbor, provide honest advice, and always be available when they need you. For over two decades, he served families, farmers, and small business owners throughout Grayson County and the surrounding North Texas region.
When Steve retired in 2010, Matt Hanley, CPA acquired the practice and carried forward that same commitment to personalized service. Today, our firm is led by a CPA team focused on tax planning, accounting, and year-round advisory for individuals and small businesses.
Over the years, we saw a gap: our clients needed more than someone to file their taxes once a year. They needed a partner who could help them understand their numbers, plan ahead, and make better decisions throughout the year.
That is why we evolved into NTX Advisory Group. We combine the expertise of a traditional CPA firm with modern tools and year-round advisory services - while honoring the legacy of personalized care that Steve Ramsey established nearly four decades ago.

Steve Ramsey established the practice in Denison, Texas, building a reputation for honest, reliable tax preparation and personal attention to every client. His commitment to the community laid the foundation for everything we do today.
Matt Hanley, CPA Takes the Lead
Matt Hanley acquired the practice from Steve Ramsey (now retired) and continued its legacy of personalized service, expanding the client base and deepening the firm's tax planning capabilities.
Expanded Team & Advisory Services
Ali Saqib joined as Partner, and the team grew to include specialized professionals in tax, bookkeeping, and technology operations.
Became NTX Advisory Group
Rebranded to reflect the firm's growth, expanded team, and broader advisory focus, while maintaining the personalized service clients have relied on since 1987.
